A couple of cool things....

First, the roll out of the initial 1/48 scale bases. We were in Cincinnati on Saturday (VERY nice show by the way!) and they hit the market up there. If you were there and stopped by and said Hi, it was great to see you. If you were one of the folks who gave me the best possible compliment by actually buying a base, THANK YOU!!!

And second, the first magazine review is out. Check out the current SAMi (out in the UK now, coming to the US shores soon) for our very first print magazine review!

Next up in development are carrier decks. Gimmie about a month, but I am working on them. And of course, if life gets in the way you may need to gimmie a bit more time!

And, in a late development, I've finally gotten the promised painting hints up. Hopefully they'll help someone.

Announcing 1/48 Scale Bases!

Ok, well, I had planned to roll out WWII carrier decks in 1/72 next, but do to the many requests for 1/48 bases, I'm casting the first batch of 1/48 Concrete Hardstands this week. I'll have pictures up in a couple more days, but I'll have two sizes, 9 x 12 and 12 x 15. To increase flexibility, I haven't included pre-molded ground work areas on these as it is easy enough for the buyer to add it if they want.

The roll out will be at the Cinicinatti show this weekend. If you're going to be there, stop on by and say Hi!

After Jack and I spent a week recovering from the trip to Omaha and back for the Nationals, we managed to get our heads back together and get the MaxModels line up and running on the MidTenn website.

It's Official...The first dollar has come in!

What a rush! To see money change hands for something I created. Way cool! The whole experience at Nat's was a blast. To all of you who stopped by and chatted a bit or a lot, THANKS! It was a pleasure meeting all of you, and great to hear your ideas for future projects.

But now that the initial release is in the rear view mirror, it's time to get back to work. MidTenn Hobbies has all the stock I've cast, and Jack should have it available on the site anytime now. For my part, I've got to order some more resin and get casting. I'll also be getting to work getting WWII carrier decks going. I'd like to have them out by October, and modern decks in November. If things really go well, I may have PSP out in time to make it under the Christmas Tree for your favorite modeler.

Again, thanks to everyone who stopped, looked, and even bought. I'm rolling now, so check in from time to time.
